Our Terms of Service regulate the free, advertising-financed use of Grindosaur.com.

Scope

The following Terms of Service apply to the entire internet platform accessible through Grindosaur.com, maintained and developed by Luca Sammann, Ritterstraße 9, 97241 Bergtheim, Germany. It regulates the use of the services provided by Grindosaur.com, including, among other things, but not limited to, the provision of texts, videos, and images. Additionally, this includes the upcoming functions and means for the exchange between users and the editorial staff via comment sections and user profiles. Furthermore, it regulates any content shared by its users (including, but not limited to, texts, and images).

Fair use

Grindosaur.com is free to use, regardless of the user being registered or not. Therefore, it is monetized through the incorporation of advertisements. We reserve the right to block individual functions, certain or all contents, or access to the entire platform if the user unilaterally violates this agreement on the fair use of our platform by using so-called advertising blockers (or ad blockers for short) or other technical implementations. Irrespective of this, we do not guarantee or warrant the proper functioning of this platform when using said ad blockers. Such programs can profoundly interfere with the operation of our platform and possibly impair it.

Editorial independence

Our editorial team has committed itself to the German Press Law and strives for a clear separation between independent, editorial reporting and advertising. We do not let advertisers influence our reports.

User accounts

Some offered services by Grindosaur.com require a free user account. This service requires at least a username, a password, and a valid e-mail address. Note that only one account is permitted per user.

User content

There are several rules for user-generated content:

• If the user can upload texts, pictures, or graphics to our platform, we expressly point out that the existing copyrights and property rights of third parties or the personal rights of depicted persons must be upheld. Not all texts, videos, or images published on the internet are available at free disposal and use, even if technical duplication, storage, or uploading is possible. • In any case, it is prohibited to ask, advertise, promote and link to content protected by copyright or personal rights, including betas, leaks, software, weapons, and drugs that have otherwise illegally entered the internet.
• The linking, advertising, and depiction of pornographically and adult content, as well as discriminatory or racist statements of any kind, sedition, or other material that may be relevant under criminal law, is also prohibited. In non-criminal or not yet criminally punishable infringements, we reserve the right to block access to the platform, exclude individual users, or take away their privilege to share content. This applies particularly to discriminatory or racist statements of any kind, incitement of the masses, child pornography, and the promotion or linking to other, possibly criminally relevant content of any kind.
• The advertising of commercial homepages and products for commercial purposes is forbidden, as is the mass creation of meaningless, insulting, or otherwise harmful content that is harmful to a peaceful coexistence of our userbase.

Whoever disregards these rules can be warned, admonished, and temporarily or entirely be excluded from our platform or lose their permission to share content temporarily or permanently.

Furthermore, if users commit crimes or aid and abet in or incite others to commit crimes or make them public or link to pages with the materials mentioned above, we reserve the right to take legal action.

Participating companies

Grindosaur.com enters into agreements and partnerships with various companies to offer certain services on our website or complementary products to our services. Depending on the partner's offer, it may be necessary to create an additional user account and possibly also provide personal data such as names, addresses, and payment information. In this case, the user enters into a binding contract only with the respective partner company. In any case, payment obligations from this only arise if you order certain products or services from these participating companies at your request.

Advertisements

Our platform is free to use and gets financed by the incorporation of advertising banners delivered by various service providers. We commit ourselves not to provide any reprehensible, sexist, racist, or misleading advertising motives. If you encounter problematic advertising from third parties on our platform, it is advisable to make a screenshot and send it to us. We will then proceed to act against the deliverance of such adverts.

Terms and termination

Regarding free user accounts, both the site's operator and the user account's owner are allowed to terminate the account in question at any time. If you, as the account's owner, want to delete your user account, send us an e-mail. Our staff will then delete all personal data, including the username, corresponding e-mail address, etc. Any user content created will be made anonymous. Note that it is not possible to restore your user account after its termination. Furthermore, the username will be made available for use after the deletion of your account. In rare cases, it will be made unavailable for use.

Force majeure

We operate our platform to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee a faultless operation. Transmission errors, necessary maintenance, or force majeure may temporarily suspend the platform or its accessibility. These temporary suspensions do not give rise to a claim for damages.

Additionally, even if our platform is accessible via the internet, not all functions may be available worldwide for legal, licensing, or other reasons.

We want to inform you that we are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before an Independent Consumer Arbitration Service.

Closing provisions

In business transactions with consumers within the European Union, the law of the consumer's residence may also be applicable, if it is mandatory to apply consumer law provisions. In business transactions, with merchants and legal entities under public law, The Federal Republic of Germany is agreed as the place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from any contractual agreements. Grindosaur.com is also entitled to sue at the customer's place of business or residence. German law shall apply exclusively. Should individual provisions of these Terms of Service be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. We reserve the right to change and adapt these Terms of Service. We will inform you about any changes in good time.
