During the course of yesterday, a message made the rounds on the net that Digimon Survive would not appear this year. Fortunately, it was only a false report, which has been cleared up in the meantime!
But what exactly happened? The Japanese website ryokutya2089 reported that Digimon Survive was moved from its previous release date of 2020 to 'TBA', referring to a report by the Japanese video game magazine Famitsu. This made many fans sad, as Digimon Survive had already been postponed once due to the restructuring of the development team.
In the meantime, however, it turned out that Digimon Survive's release is still scheduled for 2020 and that this is just a mistake on the part of Famitsu. This was confirmed by the Twitter account Gematsu, who received information from a North American Bandai Namco representative that Digimon Survive is still scheduled for release in 2020.
