A couple of days ago, I posted a news article about a new Digimon MMO called Digimon Super Rumble and ended on the note that we all should be cautious about it as a proper announcement was still missing. But guess what happened? We got a confirmation - and tons of information (mainly images).
Digimon is on the "ReArise!" Beginning in 2020 and following up in 2021, we have gotten a lot of Digimon content, products, and shows. The card game is a hit; fans love the 2020 Adventure anime; Digimon Survive seems to be shaping up to be released this year - and now a rumor about a Digimon MMO.
Almost two weeks ago, I published news about Digimon Survive's release timeframe found in Toei Animations financial report scheduling its release for Fall 2021. Now, Bandai Namco Entertainment has lowkey confirmed its release for this year, albeit not announcing the game's release timeframe officially.
As I do every few days, I was looking for Digimon Survive information once again today, and for a change, I found some! About two days ago, Toei Animations released their financial report for the last fiscal year, in which they shared their company growth, sales, brand reach, and much more with their investors. In addition, they also released their roadmap for the coming year in this document - and among them, Digimon Survive's planned release date!
As technologies and design philosophies continue to evolve, so should the projects created with them. And what better time to make announcements to change than right before a birthday. Grindosaur is about to turn two years old, and with it will come a realignment of the brand.
Oh boy, initially, I had scheduled this post for early January, and look at the date now. As of writing this, it is March 14th. We are already three months into the year, and only now can I take the time to write down a couple of passages. 2020 has been a heck of a year for pretty well-known reasons, and 2021 seems to follow in its footsteps. But we are gamers, and you are browsing Grindosaur - so enough with this real-life nonsense; let us focus on what went on behind the scenes and what I have in store for you in the upcoming year! By the way, I am kidding; We have to talk about personal matters here and real-life in general. I am healthy, and I hope that you are too. Let's go!
Digimon Survive - new High Quality images and expanded character biographies for Miu Shinonome and SyakomonPublished 1 year ago by Raextor
A few days have passed since I last posted a couple Digimon Survive updates and here we are again getting the next batch of information. This time they come directly from the games main website that can be accessed here. Sadly, the whole website is mostly image based and in Japanese so we are going to have some trouble translating the information. But do not fret as Google Image Translate got us (somewhat) covered!
The Humble Bundle just announced that their store is going to celebrate Japanese games for a whole week with their new Golden Week sale starting today! So, what does that mean? It means that you can buy Japanese developed games for up to 85% off their regular price AND do something charitable at the same time!
