Psychic

The Psychic-type is one of the fifteen elemental types introduced in the first generation of Pokémon. It mostly consists of human-like creatures possessing an equal or superior intellect compared to us humans. They are capable of telepathic communication, teleportation, and even telekinesis, making them, in theory, far superior to humans.

It is to note that before Generation 4, all damaging Psychic-type moves were categorized into special attacks, while afterward being split up into the physical and status categories too – depending on the move.
