Research Camp

This research facility serves as home base as you explore Lental.

This is Professor Mirror's lab, a research hub located within the nature park. Pokémon can be seen roaming about as they please.

The Research Camp becomes available after completing the Fireflow Volcano's Illumina Spot at least once.

This table showcases the required Research Experience you must accumulate to reach the next level of the course. Upon reaching the next level, you must collect the displayed amount of experience, as experience does not roll over from level to level.

The first alternative route I want to cover is not an alternative route per se but rather an alternative starting point. As you might have noticed, whenever you start a Research Camp exploration, you might end up in one of two distinct starting locations: the Research Camp's entryway or close to the NEO-ONE research vessels. The starting point depends entirely on the location showcased on the main menu. Therefore, whenever you see Professor Mirror's laboratory, you will spawn near the NEO-ONE research vessels; however, if you see a camp with a lit fire, you will always start close to the research camp's entryway. Additionally, upon retrying the course, after you get your images evaluated, you will always get the same route as the one you started, never the other one.

The second alternative route, essentially the only available, is a detour through Professor Mirror's laboratory. To access it, scan near the steps leading up the laboratory's door and hold X to confirm your selection. You will then enter the laboratory and, shortly after that, return to the steps your detour started on.
