Maricopia Reef: Reef (Evening)

The sunset bathes the Pokémon of the reef in evening light as the day comes to an end.

The Maricopia Reef's evening course becomes available after completing the game.

This table showcases the required Research Experience you must accumulate to reach the next level of the course. Upon reaching the next level, you must collect the displayed amount of experience, as experience does not roll over from level to level.

During the evening, the Maricopia Reef offers a single alternative route for you to select and two traversable pseudo paths based on your camera orientation.

Covering the pseudo paths first, they are automatically selected based on your camera's orientation when coming close to the Wailords. So, for example, if you face Wailord's tailfin, you will automatically move around it to its left; however, when facing the second Wailord to its right, you will move in that direction instead.

Now, for the alternative route, progress through the level as usual. However, coming close to the end of the course, watch out for a scan prompt on your screen and then pan your camera slightly to the right and scan to see the alternative route selection icon. Upon selection, you will deviate from the regular path shortly.
