Founja Jungle: Jungle (Day)'s alternative routes
During the daytime, the Jounja Jungle offers two alternative routes for you to traverse. The first you can come across is only accessible after discovering it during a nighttime exploration of the Founja Jungle. To learn how to access it, you have to throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom in front of the tall grass close to Quagsire's pond during nighttime and then scan the illuminated paws leading into the foliage. After doing so, you will be able to select the alternative route by confirming your selection by holding X. If accomplished during a nighttime exploration, you will be able to choose this alternative pathway during the day.
For the second alternative route, you do not have to fulfill any specific prerequisites. Instead, follow the regular path until you arrive at a cliffside with an inclined growing tree. Then, you can see a big stone pillar onto which a Liepard will jump. Before it can lay down, throw an Illumina Orb at it to make it jump into the nearby foliage and run away. Then proceed until your NEO-ONE research vessel notifies you with a scan suggestion. Next, scan and pan your camera towards the waterfalls to select an alternative route that leads behind them.
