Barren Badlands: Badlands (Night)

The strange geological formations here were carved out by countless meteorites crashing into the wasteland.

The Barren Badlands' nighttime course unlocks after reaching the second research level of the Barren Badlands' daytime course.

This table showcases the required Research Experience you must accumulate to reach the next level of the course. Upon reaching the next level, you must collect the displayed amount of experience, as experience does not roll over from level to level.

The alternative route in the Barren Badlands during the night is similar but distinctively different compared to its daytime counterpart. To access it, you must gather at least 3 Digletts close to the giant boulder beside the Crystabloom further down the path. To achieve that, throw an Illumina Orb at a dust cloud and hit the appearing Diglett with a Fluffruit. Repeat this three times, and, when the Digletts gathered close to the boulder, throw an Illumina Orb at the Crystabloom to make the Diglett push the boulder off the ledge. Shortly after, you can select the alternative pathway if you have not yet moved past the geyser.
