Monster

Pokémon belonging to the Monster Egg Group are most often beast-, saurian- or kaiju-like creatures and amongst the most recognizable Pokémon of the franchise. They consist of both bipedal and quadrupedal, usually larger than average-sized, critters, and generally fearsome due to their appearance. Most of them evolved to possess horns, sharp claws, fangs, and muscular tails to aid in balance and defend against opponents simultaneously. Many Starter Pokémon belong to this Egg Group, too.
