This guide provides detailed information on all high-tension abilities, also known as agitation abilities to some, available to your Digimon in Digimon World: Next Order. In it, you will find a ranking for each high-tension ability, of which there are 15, and a list of all 232 Digimon and their respective ability.
General information and ability rankings
Before we dive right into the matter, we must first outline what high-tension abilities are and where they can be used. High-tension abilities, like special moves, or finishers, are solely usable through the order menu within battles and cost 50 order power. They cause your Digimon to become agitated, which in turn activates a highly beneficial effect. These effects range from temporary stat increases to massive heals, allowing you to tackle foes much sooner than intended when appropriately utilized!
Thankfully, these abilities possess names that perfectly describe what they entail once activated. Therefore, here are three hopefully objective lists of the best to worst high-tension abilities based on their impact on your playstyle, situation, or progress.
Remember that the lists are based on differing playstyles or progress situations. Please adjust the weighting if you impose your own rules on your playthrough, as I've only taken the time to come up with lists regarding a no-item run, a maxed-out endgame situation, and a regular playthrough.
